Carmelle Watkins is an award-winning professional makeup artist and educator with over 20 years of experience working across television, fashion, editorial, magazines, live productions, and bridal.

After building her career inside the industry, Carmelle recognised that many aspiring artists were being taught techniques without being shown how the industry actually works. Her courses were created to change that.

Through Carmelle Makeup Courses, she teaches structured, real-world training designed to help students build confidence, develop professional skills, and understand how to move into paid work across bridal, fashion, editorial, and screen production environments.

Carmelle served as Director of The Makeup Technicians College in Sydney, where she strengthened the delivery structure to better prepare graduates for real industry work across fashion shoots, television production, editorial and bridal bookings. This leadership experience shaped the foundation of her online programs, which are designed to reflect real working environments rather than hobby-style tutorials.
